Meet Caroline Shinkle…
Your Next Congresswoman

Caroline lives in Midtown Manhattan and has always valued education, hard work, and pushing the limits of what’s possible. This foundation helped shape Caroline’s path from academic achievement, to working at the center of the U.S. financial system and legal industry, to her civic and community involvement.

Caroline graduated from MIT, where she majored in economics and became deeply interested in central banking and global financial regulation. She completed stints at the European Central Bank in Frankfurt and the Bank of Israel in Jerusalem, before beginning her career at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors in Washington, D.C.

She went on to earn her J.D. from Harvard Law School. Upon graduation, Caroline put her law degree to work at a leading international law firm in New York City, where she advised businesses and financial institutions on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and financial regulatory matters. During law school, Caroline continued to hone her understanding of global financial regulation, spending time at the Bank for International Settlements in Basel.

In these times of economic uncertainty, Caroline’s experiences working at central banks around the world have provided her with a strategic understanding of the importance of the U.S. dollar remaining the global reserve currency. Furthermore, Caroline’s legal, economic, and central banking background, both domestic and international, provide her with a unique understanding of the economy and the conditions needed to turbocharge widespread economic growth and prosperity.

Caroline has served in leadership roles with legal, educational, and community organizations, and founded a nonprofit focused on encouraging and inspiring informed civic engagement among the rising generation. She is also a long-time member of the Screen Actors Guild–American Federation of Television & Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA).
